Fat Cow’s products and services include email, ecommerce, domain registration, and marketing services in addition to web hosting and web site management. They pledge to provide phone support based exclusively in North America and also offer live chat support online. Why the name Fat Cow? Seems they just wanted to show they offer a different alternative to the other hosting companies–providing a simpler, more customer friendly approach.

Unfortunately, Fat Cow customer support has been mostly subpar lately. Also, they do attempt to upsell additonal addons more than I would like.
FatCow is an all around great hosting company. Being over 10 years old you can definitely tell that they know what they’re doing. They’ve been in business for a long time! They’re support is also GREAT and makes them well worth looking into.
Switching to Fat Cow was one of my wisest step after getting disappointed by some hosts. Fat Cow helped me out to move all my website files from my earlier hosting provider to their server and that was quite impressive. I will recommend Fat Cow, no doubt.
As web designer I tried many different hosts and found that there’s no perfect one. However, FatCow does a really good job. They are honest with you… each time I call their support I get someone from North America.

Well, they are good, Hernje! FatCow is an excellent web hosting company. They actually pick up the phone when you call and respond with helpful, satisfactory answers. I highly recommend them for your personal or business needs. I’ve had good luck with them so far!
